Views From The (Happily) Trapped Fan

I am a HUGE sports fan, and could eat, breathe, and sleep sports. However, the sports fan I am is trapped (happily so) by other things- my four kids, my wife that works and goes to school, my two teaching jobs, my faith. Here is where I share my thoughts and my plight (and sometimes fight) to balance sports and my life. I hope it informs and entertains.

Who Is the (Happily) Trapped Fan?

Jess Root: Gilbert, AZ, United States; I am a high school and college Spanish teacher. I am a family man- married since 1999 and with four children. I am a man of faith. I am the 'house manager' at home, as my wife works and goes to school, so I take care of most of the routine cleaning, meals, and laundry.
